Terms and ConditionsAmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris undertakes to provide all services offered subject to the terms and conditions set out herein. The clients accept all terms and conditions once deposit is made. Reservations / DepositsA non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total tour price is payable within 3 days of confirmation of a reservation, the balance owing must be paid 8 weeks prior or at the time of booking if less than 8 weeks prior to departure. AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris cannot confirm bookings until proof of the deposit is received and reserves the right to cancel any reservation for which the total price has not been paid by the due date in which event the deposit will be forfeited. AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris guarantees the price of land arrangements once full payment is received. Airfares cannot be guaranteed. Payment MethodsCredit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club). Wire transfer or deposit directly into our bank account. A copy of the deposit slip has to be faxed to us immediately. Tour Changes or AdjustmentsAmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the itinerary due to availability of accommodation and attractions and the right is reserved to cancel any tour prior to departure. Cancellation NoticeCancellations due
to any reason are only effective on receipt of written notification and in such
instances, from time of booking up to 8 weeks prior to departure the full
deposit is forfeited. · 4-8 weeks prior to the departure, 50 % of the total tour cost will be forfeited. · 4 weeks or less prior to departure, 100% of the total tour cost will be forfeited · No-shows, 100% of the total tour cost will be forfeited Cancellation of flight tickets: In the event of cancellation or failure, for any reason whatsoever, to use confirmed space, as ticketed, the cancellation policy of the airline will apply. A change of reservation constitutes a cancellation. InsuranceVisitors are strongly advised to take out adequate insurance against all possible risks including medical care, personal injury, death, baggage loss, theft, cancellation or curtailment of tour, etc. AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris cannot be held responsible for any losses. RefundsOnce the tour has commenced, refunds will not be made for voluntarily missed tours, meals, or other special bookings or activities. Visas and VaccinationsVisa and immunization requirements vary from country to country and up-to date information should be obtained from your local health department and consulate. It is the responsibility of the visitor to ensure that they have a valid passport and the correct visas and that they have the required vaccinations to gain entry to any country, which they are intending to visit. Health and Dietary RequirementsIt is highly recommended that travelers check health regulations with their General Practitioner well in advance of departure. It is the responsibility of the client to inform AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris, at the time of booking in writing, of any special dietary requirements. AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris will endeavor to comply with these special requests but however cannot guarantee that they will be met. BaggagePlease check with your airline regarding baggage restrictions. Internal Economy Domestic Flights generally allow 20 kilograms of luggage in the hold, and 1 bag of hand luggage which is able to be stored under the seat or in the above compartment. The client will be responsible for any additional cost if baggage limits are exceeded. Not Included in PricesPrices do not include airport taxes, travel insurance, international flights unless specified, cost of obtaining visas and passports, cost of inoculations, telephone calls, laundry, entertainment arrangements not specified in the itinerary, meals and beverages not specified, sport equipment hire fees, gratuities and any other items of a personal nature. Travel DocumentsShould travel documents (itineraries, vouchers, brochures etc.) of any kind be couriered or mailed to clients, the cost thereof will be borne by the client. Pre and Post tour FlightsThe onus lies with the traveler to ensure that they are able to meet any departure flights for Pre or Post Tours. All onward flight re-confirmations remain the responsibility of the traveler. ResponsibilityAmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris, its outfitters, operators of the tour and/or suppliers of services act only as agents in regard to travel, whether by plane, sea, car, train or motor coach, and assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, war insurrection, revolt, or other civil uprising, other military action, strikes or any Act of God occurring in either the country of origin, destination or through passage, or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts or default of any company or persons engaged in conveying the passengers or in carrying out arrangement of the tour. They cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air schedules or other causes. All such losses or expenses will be the responsibility of the member of the tour. AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris may not be held responsible for any theft, loss or damage to luggage, hired vehicles, hired sport equipment or other items or personal effects during the tour program. DisclosurePlease be aware that during your participation in this tour certain risks and dangers may arise including but not limited to the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas, travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft or other means of conveyance, the forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Also be aware and clearly understand that AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. It is understood that AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris will use their best efforts to ensure that all adequate measures are taken to avoid such occurrences. By acceptance and payment of the tour you are a voluntary participant in these activities with the knowledge of the dangers involved and hereby agree to accept any risks. As Lawful consideration for the agreement with AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris to participate in such trips and activities, you hereby agree that you will not make a claim against AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris and its employees or Agents for all claim actions and demands you may have for bodily injury, death or property damage arising from your participation in a tour. Acceptance of the Tour Contract will serve as the release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement This agreement is binding on your heirs, legal representative and assigns. If any portion is unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. The law of South Africa shall govern the relationship between AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris and the passenger and the Courts of South Africa shall have sole jurisdiction in respect of any claims and/or disputes which may arise between AmaZingwe African Tours and Safaris and the passenger, or Agent. |
